The Headteacher and Governors of Buglawton Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and engaging class teacher to join our successful teaching team from September 2025, for one year in the first instance. This part time post is 0.5 (2.5 days per week) in KS1 and EY as part of a job share and PPA cover in our one form entry primary school.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Be an excellent and proven classroom practitioner
  • Be dedicated to providing holistic development and pastoral support
  • Be willing to make an active contribution to the broader life of the school
  • Be committed to delivering a positive impact for all children

Midday Assistant (March 2025)
Grade 2, £23,656 FTE, 38 weeks pro-rata plus holiday pay

1 x 5 hour vacancy (M-F, 12-1pm)

Buglawton Primary School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and kind Midday Assistant to help with lunchtime provision.  

You will be responsible for supervising and assisting children whilst they eat, as well as some basic serving duties.  On the playground, you will be responsible for promoting games and engaging with the children whilst ensuring that the school’s high standards of behaviour are maintained at all times.  At the end of lunchtime, you will be responsible for putting away tables and chairs and cleaning the hall.  

The position is term time only, 38 weeks of the year, and offered on a permanent basis.
